Established in 1997 and hailing from Shanghai, ICICLE has been a trailblazer in the realm of ethical fashion. Committed to sustainability and innovation, the brand consistently sets new benchmarks in the industry. Aligning with their principles, ICICLE is embarking on an exciting project in Dublin, Ireland, involving the construction, design development, and commissioning of their new retail store and office headquarters at 114 Grafton Street.
This transformative project included a comprehensive approach to the physical space, focusing on both aesthetic and functional elements. The interior structure required considerable adaptation, with a meticulous plan that included the removal of escalators and adjustments to floor levels to optimise the spatial layout. The fit-out works were extensive, ranging from the meticulous stripping and reinstallation of floor finishes to the construction of partitions that define distinct areas within the space.
The attention to detail extended to every aspect of the project, including the creation of new joinery that seamlessly integrates with the overall design aesthetic. Windows and signage received a thoughtful refurbishment, ensuring a cohesive and visually appealing exterior. Additionally, a key aspect of the project involved the preservation of existing features, such as mouldings, that contribute to the unique character of the space.
The location at 114 Grafton Street holds significance not only as a prime retail spot but also as a strategic choice for the headquarters, symbolising ICICLE’s presence in the heart of Dublin’s bustling business and fashion district.
Elliott Group Fit Out Division were proud to work with ICICLE to develop this project which serves as a testament to sustainability, innovation, and timeless elegance.
