The Clarence Hotel - Location
Templebar, Dublin 2 - Value
€2.54 million
The Clarence Hotel is a protected structure and an elegant city centre hotel. The Elliott Group were contracted to carry out new and refurbishment works to the famous Tea Rooms, restaurant and kitchen areas.
This also included the building of a new basement night club.
The protected structure status of the building imposed strict procedures and specifications on the works. The challenges posed by such a demanding project were successfully met, and the building was delivered on time and on budget.
Due to the restricted nature of the site, much of the work was carried out out-side of normal working hours.
It is important to note that during all of the above works the hotel remained fully functional at all times. The project showcases the ability of the Elliott Group to deliver a complex city-centre refurbishment scheme, while adhering to best practice in conservation.
