Project Overview
The Goswell Road Chiller Replacement project comprises the phased replacement of 13 rooftop air cooled chillers serving a live mission critical data centre in central London. The works include the decommissioning and removal of existing plant, installation of new high efficiency chillers and acoustic enclosures, structural alterations, mechanical and electrical upgrades, BMS integration, commissioning, and associated lift operations.
Delivered within a fully operational data centre environment, the project is being undertaken in two carefully managed phases to maintain uninterrupted cooling resilience and operational continuity throughout the works. Extensive planning, off site prefabrication, weekend crane operations, temporary cooling provision, and integrated commissioning strategies are employed to minimise risk and ensure seamless project delivery.
