DUB10 Energy Centre - Location
Dublin
Elliott Group successfully delivered all Civil, Structural, and Architectural (CSA) works for the construction of a major energy centre located on the western section of the site. The facility is designed as a captive power generation plant with a nominal base load capacity of 200 MW.
The scope included the installation of 10 gas turbines, supported by 8 transformer bays (33/20 kV) to the southeast and 10 transformers serving the turbines to the west. Additional infrastructure comprised four 200 m³ fuel storage tanks, dedicated fuel oil and fire pump enclosures, sprinkler and water tanks, and a water treatment plant.
Supporting systems featured six black-start generators, a power trunk building, a medium/low voltage building, and two grid transformers. To the southwest, a Gas AGI compound was constructed, incorporating a control room, plant kiosk, and boiler house. External works included landscaping, drainage, parking, lighting, and road layouts, completing a comprehensive energy infrastructure package.
