Our Project

Elliott Group delivered the comprehensive upgrade and expansion of Dairygold’s milk processing facility at the Castlefarm Site in Mitchelstown, enhancing production capacity and operational efficiency. The works formed part of a wider development to modernise processing infrastructure and support increased casein production.

The project included the construction of a 2 storey Wet Casein Building incorporating an electrical room and external tank based area, alongside a 3 storey Dry Casein Building housing MCC and electrical rooms with an adjacent tank area to support the dry casein process. A new Milk Intake Covered Yard was also constructed to provide a sheltered area for raw milk deliveries, improving product quality control. In addition, the scheme included demolition and refurbishment works to Dairygold’s existing HGV maintenance workshop, ensuring continued operational efficiency across the site.
