Croke Park – GAA GO Studio

Our Project

The new GAA GO office and broadcast studio at Croke Park delivers a technically advanced workspace within one of Ireland’s most iconic sporting venues. Designed for live broadcasting and podcast production, the project placed acoustic performance and mechanical precision at the forefront.

With the main studio overlooking the high-traffic Jones Road approach to the Hogan Stand, achieving stringent dB targets was critical. A newly engineered façade was introduced to provide enhanced sound insulation and vibration control, ensuring broadcast-quality recording conditions.

The M&E strategy was central to the delivery. Additional AHUs were installed to provide dedicated mechanical serving, carefully selected and attenuated to operate at exceptionally low noise levels. Structural alterations were required to accommodate service routes through existing walls, while bespoke suspended supports were engineered within the stand undercroft to carry the AHUs and minimise vibration transfer.

Delivered within a fully operational stadium, the result is a high-performance studio environment where heritage structure and modern broadcast engineering are seamlessly integrated.
