Last week, Elliott Group marked a significant achievement with their client team from Quintain as they gathered at The Crossings in Adamstown to celebrate the topping out of Block G. This 9-story development represents the second topping out achievement in the ongoing collaboration between the two teams.
To mark the occasion, members of the team gathered on the site to witness the topping out ceremony, showcasing the progress of the 184 residential apartments in the second phase known as Block G. As a testament to their commitment to safety, the Road Safety Authority Roadshow was also present on-site, providing insights into road safety practices, and was freely available to everyone onsite.
Guests not only enjoyed the opportunity to engage with the roadshow but also took the chance to visit the rooftop for a quick photo to celebrate the advancement of the construction. Blocks B & E could be seen from across the Plaza. Block E having being handed over at the end of July and Block B to be handed over mid September.
Block G, upon completion, will consist of two blocks with 184 residential apartments and resident amenities, contributing to the dynamic residential and retail hub. The overall scope of The Crossings development is set to redefine the landscape with 975 residential units, 18,000 square meters of retail space, and 3,500 square meters of commercial space, including essential amenities like a civic/library building, creche, enterprise centre, and primary care centre.
During the event, Eddie Byrne from Quintain complimented Elliott Group for their exceptional efficiency. Darragh Elliott, Managing Director of Elliott Group, attributed this praise to the Client, Design and Construction team for their unwavering professionalism and commitment to maintaining high-quality standards throughout the construction process.
The team also had the opportunity to explore the benchmark apartment, which sets the standard for the quality and finish of all apartment units within the development.
Before concluding the site visit, Darragh Elliott stated “that the collaboration between the parties was a true partnership and that he and the entire Elliott Group team looks forward to working on the future phases of Adamstown in conjunction with Quintain and the Design Team members”.
The Crossings at Adamstown will be officially launched on Saturday 23rd September by Minister for Housing Darragh O’Brien. To celebrate the occasion Quintain are hosting a day of festivities and fun for all the family including carnival rides, food trucks and much more.
