Sod turned on new Avonpark

We were delighted to join Retirement Villages Group, village residents, local representatives, design team members and the wider community to officially mark the commencement of the next phase of works at Avonpark Village in Limpley Stoke, Wiltshire.

This development represents an important investment in the future of the village, delivering 69 new retirement apartments alongside a range of shared amenities including a shop, restaurant, bar, library and wellness spaces, all designed to support independence, wellbeing and social connection for residents.

Projects like this represent much more than the delivery of new buildings. They’re about enhancing communities, improving quality of life and creating spaces where people can continue to live active and connected lives for years to come.

Working within a live residential environment requires a thoughtful and collaborative approach, and we are committed to ensuring these works are delivered with the utmost care while minimising disruption for existing residents throughout the construction process.

A special thank you to everyone who joined the celebration, including the residents of Avonpark Village, Cllr Ian Thorn, Brian Mathew MP, Linda Ladner, Richard Mann, Cllr Nigel White and the Year 5 class from Winsley Primary School, whose contributions to the time capsule made the day even more memorable!

We look forward to continuing our partnership with Retirement Villages Group and all stakeholders as we bring this exciting vision to life.
