Elliott Group was delighted to once again bring together clients, colleagues, supply chain partners and friends for our annual charity Golf Day in support of Mellon Educate, held this year at Moyvalley Hotel & Golf Resort in Ireland.
Despite some very challenging weather conditions throughout the day, spirits remained high both on and off the course, with a fantastic turnout and tremendous support helping to make the event another great success.
This year’s Golf Day marked an important milestone for Elliott Group, as we celebrate our ninth year supporting Mellon Educate and the valuable work the charity continues to deliver in disadvantaged communities in South Africa.
Founded in 2002, Mellon Educate works to improve access to quality education through the construction and renovation of schools, literacy programmes and investment in local communities. To date, the charity has built or renovated 36 schools and improved educational opportunities for more than 65,000 children. Its annual Building Blitz also brings volunteers from Ireland, the UK, the US and further afield to South Africa to build and improve educational facilities in under-resourced communities.
For Elliott Group, our long-standing relationship with Mellon Educate is one we are extremely proud of. The continued generosity of those who participate in and support our Golf Day plays an important part in allowing us to maintain that commitment year after year.
We would like to sincerely thank everyone who joined us at Moyvalley, those who contributed to the day and, in particular, the many sponsors and supply chain partners whose generosity and continued support helped make the event possible.
