We are seeking an experienced Contract / Legal Assurance Manager to strengthen our commercial and legal governance across all projects.
This Senior position within the Group is ideal for someone with a Commercial/Legal degree but with a strong knowledge of various forms of construction contracts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and analyse contract conditions at tender and preferred bidder stages
- Lead contract negotiations
- Produce contract documentation, trackers, and guidance for project teams
- Support project teams on contractual matters throughout project delivery
- Manage and oversee contractual compliance systems across all projects
- Lead resolution of contractual matters
- Develop and maintain internal contract templates and procedures
- Deliver training to improve contract awareness and consistency
- Monitor compliance through trackers and reporting tools
Key Requirements:
- Degree in Law, Construction Law, construction economics or a related discipline
- Experience in a similar role within a main contractor or construction environment
- Proven experience in contract negotiation, risk management, and claims handling
