In recent weeks, Elliott Group were delighted to complete the handover for the new five floor VHI 360 Health Centre in Carrickmines, Dublin, which has now opened its doors to customers.
Having completed demolition and alteration works along with the complete fit-out of the building, we congratulate the project team for exceeding all standards. Working over 150,000 man hours, they managed the challenges of the pandemic without a single incident or Covid case.
The level of quality achieved on the project is evident in the professional services now available in the medical facility. The Elliott Group team successfully planned and implemented the installation of the MRI diagnostic machine, X-Ray, Dexa, Orthopaedics, Dentistry, Paediatrics and Physio departments.
The 5,405 sqm project also included a Faraday Cage and lead lining for diagnostic imaging rooms, basement works to adjust existing carpark to include additional spaces, clinical waste disposal and generator area with an additional lift core throughout the five floors. At roof level, existing plant enclosures were extended by 49 sqm while the main entrance of the building was modified to accommodate ambulance access.
In 2021, the team were awarded the Certificate of Excellence from the Considerate Constructors Scheme for continued high standards.
Elliott Group are also delighted to announce that the project has been successful in being shortlisted in the Fitout category for the Irish Construction Excellence Awards 2022. Congratulations to all the team on their achievements.
Elliott Group would like to thank the VHI for entrusting them with the delivery of this project along with FESP, Moloney O’Beirne, ARUP, J.V.Tierney, Brendan Merry and Partners whom they worked closely with to ensure the successful delivery of this magnificent project.
