The Athletes Village is a Lendlease Developments Ltd project performed on behalf of the ODA (Olympic Delivery Authority) for the 2012 Olympic Games.
It included the Design and Construction of Rail Infrastructure, Roads, Utilities, 2,700 new homes of various sizes and tenures, public realm, landscaping, all-age Academy School, a hotel, retail units, and ancillary works.
The Elliott Group were appointed as preferred bidder in November 2009 for the Design & Build of Plot N14 — Athletes’ accommodation. The scheme comprised 201 residential units accommodating 1,500 athletes during the games. This scheme was then re-configured post-2012 (in ‘legacy mode’) and the Athletes Village is now a vibrant and modern part of Stratford in East London.
Elliott Group are very proud to have delivered such a prestigious project which involved best in class Safety, Programme Management and Logistics with a deadline like the Olympics 2012.
