At Elliott Group, we’ve always said that safety isn’t just about ticking boxes—it’s about people, how we work together, and the choices we make every day on site.
That’s why we’re really excited to be launching a new Behavioural Safety Campaign, in collaboration with James Gorry. It’s a powerful piece that will be rolled out across the Group and included in our induction process for everyone coming onto an Elliott site.
The message is simple but important: if something doesn’t feel safe, you stop. Every person on site is encouraged to speak up and talk to a black hat.
We don’t want anyone to feel like they have to stay quiet or take a risk—safety starts with having that confidence to take action. It’s about creating a space where everyone knows they’ve got a voice, and that they’ll be listened to.
Please take a moment to watch our Elliott Group – Behavioural Safety in Construction video with James Gorry, and share the message so we can encourage safety in everythign we do to ensure everyone goes home safely, everyday.
“At Elliott Group, we believe that safety starts with every individual. This video shares the powerful story of James Gorry, whose life changed in a split second, and the lessons we can all take from his experience. Because safety isn’t just about rules—it’s about mindset, culture, and looking out for one another. Behavioural safety starts with you. Speak up, slow down and make the right choice. It could save a life, including your own.”
