About The Job

We are seeking a Design Manager to join our team at Elliott Group.

Overview:
The successful candidate will oversee the design, procurement, quality control, and handover phases of projects, ensuring completion aligns with client expectations, budget, and timelines. Reporting to the Director, the role involves managing the design process from pre-construction to post-construction, including documentation, stakeholder coordination, and defect liability follow-up.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage design consultants and ensure compliance with project requirements.
  • Oversee design documentation, quality plans, and construction programme coordination.
  • Chair design meetings and manage RFI and submittals processes.
  • Coordinate project handovers, occupier manuals, and defect liability follow-up.

Training & Skills:
A relevant design qualification, CSCS Card, and “Managing Safely in Construction” certification are required.
